24/7 is a non-stop prayer meeting spanning many nations and Christian traditions. Participating groups pledge to pray 24 hours a day in a fixed location for anything between a few days to a week or a month. They ‘carry the baton of prayer’ for that period.

Initiated at the 2001 Roots conference, the UK Territory commenced a year of prayer. Over 1500 people passed through the 24/7 prayer room during the four-day conference. Since then, a fire has spread throughout the world. The Salvation Army in many countries around the world are partnering with the international 24/7 prayer movement. Incredible works of transformation, healing and discipling have been seen in territories who have committed to a year of prayer and beyond.

This fire has spread to the Canada, Russia, and territories in the United States of America, New Zealand and the Australia Eastern Territory. In Vancouver, Canada , young Salvationists have celebrated 3 years of non-stop prayer in the War room associated with the 614 corps. The New Zealand Territory are now into their second year of non-stop prayer. The commitment of these territories to prayer is producing much fruit. It is our turn to be part of the vision.

On 24.07.08. Australia Southern Territory commenced another year of non-stop prayer Be a part of the vision!

24-7 Prayer is an opportunity to start a fire - to break the faith barrier, to take God at His word through community... to listen to His voice... to experience 'interdependence' (sharing of gifts) so that we may bear fruit for God's kingdom. It's an opportunity for us to learn how to pray so that the Glory of God will be revealed in and through us - His people.

24-7 non-stop prayer gives us, as a community of Christians & Salvationists, an opportunity to do real business with Him. To take God at His Word. To go deeper - and wider, and to be influencers for the advancement and expansion of God's kingdom.
