David Cairns has viewed life through a lens for more than a decade. His attachment to cameras started, almost by chance, through photography classes at school. ‘I was finding year 11 stressful, so decided to drop an academic subject,’ David recalls. ‘I took up photography, thinking it would be nice and relaxing. It ended up being the hardest subject I did!’He may have found it a challenge, but his experimentation with photography ignited a creative passion.
