Christmas in July

This weekend as a special fundraiser to support the work of The Salvation Army in Haiti many of us are involved in Christmas Dinners at different locations.

I was intrigued last Sunday when I heard James Allen say that if you weren't available to go to a Dinner you could have Christmas in July on your own and still give your $25 to support the Haiti. So if you are having dinner on Saturday night then feel free to set aside $25 and pass it on to James for the Haiti Appeal.

Speaking of Christmas in July... do you need a great location to meet a friend for lunch or coffee one day next week? Our own Cafe Salvo is having Christmas in July all week next week; Turkey & Cranberry Baguettes, Christmas Pudding, Mince Pies and much more! Come along for a festive treat.Click here for more details.

Welcome home to the six young people from Box Hill who were part of the Big Band at the World Youth Convention in Sweden, we look forward to hearing the stories of how God used this time for His glory.

There are a few special things coming up, but in particular I want to mention our Kids Celebration Weekend:
- Saturday 14th August at 6pm for a Spit Roast and Box Hill's Got Talent Evening (Adults $12, Youth $6, Children Grade 6 and under free). Tickets are available for sale this Sunday.
- Sunday 15th August: 10am Celebration featuring the youngest members of our Children’s Ministry, 6pm service will be led by Kids Church and include Junior Soldier enrolments.
Plan to be there!

I'll catch you on Sunday for worship.

Yours in deep faith and deep mission.

Gregory
