Family Housing

The Family Housing service manages ten houses. Eight of the homes have head lease arrangements with The Department of Housing and Works and two houses sublet through local Real Estate Agencies. The service provides housing to families who are either homeless or facing immediate risk of homelessness. Paralegal support, advocacy and life skills training are critical features of this service. The service also assists in obtaining white goods and furniture for clients entering the programme who have none. The worker is responsible for the managing of rents and maintenance of houses in the Scheme and liaising with the Real Estate agents, from whom the Program houses are subleased.

This service operates five days per week. Inquiries can be handled by ringing or by appointment if further assistance is required.
