Flaming Rhino and The Salvation Army bring Christmas to the World

Flaming Rhino and The Salvation Army:
Giving Christmas to the World

25 September 2001

Since 1995, Flaming Rhino Design has been working with The Salvation Army in Australia to raise funds for community programs. The "Giving Christmas to the World" program sees 10 percent of the wholesale price of Flaming Rhino's bright and colourful Christmas greeting cards donated to The Salvation Army. Thus far, over $150,000 has been raised to help us make a difference to those in need.

The success of this innovative partnership has resulted in Flaming Rhino Design extending the relationship with The Salvation Army to New Zealand in 1997 and, hopefully, to the UK in 2002.

This year, Flaming Rhino is expanding their support of The Salvation Army in Australia to help us year round. A large range of their fun and exciting greeting cards, stationery and photo albums will also now carry The Salvation Army logo to indicate that 10 percent of the wholesale price is donated to the Red Shield Appeal.

Flaming Rhino Design has demonstrated a strong ethic of caring for individuals, families and the community. The Salvation Army is delighted by their support and initiative, and congratulates the company on its desire to help Australians in need.

"Giving Christmas to the World" greeting cards and other Flaming Rhino products are available at retailers throughout Australia, including David Jones and Myer Grace Bros stores.
