Millions of dollars of generously donated food is distributed to the hungry each year by the Salvos in the form of food hampers from our local centres.

In 2002, The Salvation Army distributed food to more than 300,000 people in Victoria alone.

The Salvation Army Food Bank merged with Victorian Relief Committee Food Bank in September 2003 to improve our ability to meet the ever increasing needs of families in crisis
