During these months of Spring we will follow the ministry of Paul as he journeys to Rome. The morning series will complete our study of the “Acts” and, as Romans do, we will celebrate with a “Pasta Party” over lunch on 23rd November.
Most of the evening meetings will be based on the apocalyptic visions of Daniel and how we can relate these predictions to our current service for Christ. Of particular interest will be a Fellowship evening which will feature the movie “Left Behind”.
There are some special times too – Father’s Day, Candidates Day, Community Care Day and Youth Discipleship Day. Our musicians are travelling to Geelong, we will show our gratitude to God with Harvest Thanksgiving and the youngsters will also have their Anniversary. As well the Companion Club has a Pleasant Sunday Afternoon gathering on 28th September at 3.00pm
On 2nd November, Salvation Army congregations in South Australia will be coming together at The Shores Conference Centre West Beach for Sunday meetings at 10.30am and 2.00pm including special activities for children.
Our Spring Series concludes with the start of Advent on 30th November. On that evening a Combined Churches Choir will present “A Christmas Choral Service” in our hall.
Come along and be encouraged in the faith.
