Summer has arrived and we are hoping for a soaking.
During the holiday break, some are going away, however if you are still in town we encourage you to support the corps as far as you are able.
The summer series of meetings is interesting, with the ADVENT meetings focussed on the “Christmas” perspective of various characters from the birth accounts in Scripture. Our main Carol Service is on the evening of 21st December, with the movie “The Nativity” on 14th December.
During January we commence a morning series with the Old Testament book of Micah, and in the evenings we will be looking at People, Places and Prayer – the story of The Salvation Army in other parts of the world.
For our Fellowship Nights the spotlight will be on Spiritual Giants – DL Moody and John Wesley. In February we have an evening meeting in the Park at Days Road. There is a Prayer Day on 15th February, and the Covenant Players are coming on 22nd February.
The summer series finishes with an investigation of Salvo DNA – what are the essentials of our Movement?
Come along and be blessed.
