playgroup 

A very entertaining and creative time for young children, parents and grandparents. Our Playgroup meets on a Thursday morning from 10:00am till 12:00 pm.

The aim of Playgroup is:

• To be offering developmental and age-appropriate activities for all children within the group.
  
  To provide a warm, friendly and supportive environment for both adults and
  children to experience fellowship.
  
• To include Christian values and teaching within our program.

noise! 

Noise! junior youth group is for kids in Grades 3 - Years 7 and runs once a month on alternate fridays / saturdays at Waverley. Noise!started in 2006 and has been growing since. Our activities involve themed events such as crazy pizza nights, AMF bowling, music, crafts, sports etc...
Events cost $3.00 however a higher cost is charged for outings.

kid's church (sunday school) 

We meet each week on Sunday at 9.30am and spend an hour listening, singing, creating, talking, laughing, sharing and learning about the creator of our world.

Our leaders love us as individuals and are genuinely interested in the growth of each one of us. They love to share the love of Jesus with us and encourage us to seek a personal relationship with Him.

There are 2 age groups available:

Junior – ages 3 – 7
Senior – ages 8 – 12

singing company (junior choir) 

Singing is a great way for children to learn to worship God. Our kids meeting every Friday night (except the 1st of each month) and spend time learning songs that are sung in worship services.

junior timbrel brigade 

Playing the Timbrel is a very Salvo thing to do. We have a group available for girls between the ages of 7 – 14 who meet every Friday (except 1st Friday of month) and enjoy creative movement to modern and traditional music, with regular participation in our Worship services.

youth band (junior band) 

A great way for children to enjoy friendship and fun together, learning music through playing a brass instrument. Ages for this group start at 8. Learners groups are also available. Each month the children are encouraged to participate in Church worship.
