Programme Aim:


The needs and aims of these groups are different and diverse from small groups of just a few people, to larger gatherings of up to eighty or more.

Gain more enriching fellowship.

Feel important to someone.

Have an opportunity to be involved in the community through mission and service.

Expand knowledge and broaden horizons.

Nurture spiritual and inner being.

Programme Includes:


Exercise and Walking groups

Games

eg board games, carpet bowls

Conducting entertaining programmes for others

Gardening

Bible studies Discussion groups

Nostalgia afternoons

Outings and Holidays

Singing groups

Guest speakers

(with topics such as nutrition for older people, how to handle grief, house security and insurance)
